We all know this Momma is not a baker, I like being able to sprinkle, mix, and sprinkle some more to make things taste just the way I like, well we can’t do that with baking because, well it just doesn’t work that way now does it? Well it doesn’t for me! So when I sat here wondering what kind of cookie to make I instantly remembered the awesome cookie cook book my best friend gave me for Christmas last year, I jumped up and ran to my kitchen with excitement! As quickly as I got excited, I got disappointed because I realized I had already packed up my cookbooks for the big move next month. I was yet stumped again. Then my  monthly subscription to The Taste of Home came in the mail and when I saw “The Holiday Baking Guide” I couldn’t wait to see what they had to offer. Enter Candy Cane Blossom Cookies, I never knew these sweet little cookies had an actual name, you know those cookie rounds that have a Hershey kiss in the middle?? Well these ones have candy canes in them! They appeared easy enough for me to make, they looked cute and seemed VERY festive!

  1. Don’t underestimate your baking abilities – these cookies look fantastic! And thanks for including the freezing instructions – I don’t (but should) freeze my cookie dough often and find myself guessing at how to bake them after they come out of the freezer.
