Easy French Toast Crepes for Kiddos

I remember coming across these cute little French Toast Crepes for Kiddos a few years ago and I never made them. We have breakfast at least once a week during the Winter months so I’m always looking to try new breakfast recipes. This one involves getting the kids in the kitchen with you because what kid doesn’t love a rolling pin?! I’m willing to share a little secret of mine. If you own a play dough roller, wash it up and use it! My kids had one from a play dough kit so whenever we are making anything that consists of rolling we wash it up and use it because it’s perfect for those cute little hands. If you know how to make french toast then you can manage these! The kids flattened the bread for me, I did the spreading and then they did the topping and I rolled.

There is no perfect recipe for these. I suggest making them catered to what your kids like but here are the combo’s I used:

Nutella with bananas
Greek yogurt cream cheese with strawberries
Peanut butter and bananas

What else you will need:
Eggs
Milk
Cinnamon and Sugar
Butter (or spray butter)

What to do:

Cut the crusts off as many slices as your making. Scramble a few eggs with a splash of milk. Heat a medium skillet on low-medium. Use a rolling pin to flatten each piece of bread. Spread your choice of flavor. Top with your favorite fruit fruit. Dip the roll into the egg mixture. Coat the skillet and cook each roll turning it around as it browns. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and let the kiddos dip in syrup! Better yet how about a little whipped cream?!!

The kids seriously at all of these! I can’t see why you can’t freeze leftovers either. It’s a great way to change up the normal french toast or crepes and it’s super easy!
