Boozy Coconut & Caramel Milkshakes #SundaySupper

It is time to celebrate National Piña Colada Day! I know a lot of people think the food National Days can be cheesy and a bit to much but I for one love them. I mean there is a national cheese day after all so it can’t be that cheesy! I’m not big on Piña Colada’s, I mean I like coconut flavored things and I’ve been known to sip on one when visiting an island. I received a secret santa gift this past Christmas that had a few alcoholic beverages in it if you will. One of them happened to be coconut flavored vodka. It’s been sitting in my liquor cabinet since. When this weeks theme hosted by Connie from Cosmopolitan Cornbread came to I instantly thought of a boozy beverage! These Boozy Coconut & Caramel Milkshakes were inspired from those cute little bottle of nips and the coconut flavored greek yogurt I had on hand.

I had fun making this creation and of course I had to make a virgin one for the kids and they LOVED them. I of course told them they were vanilla milkshakes because if I had told them there was coconut in there they would raise their noses in the air and run the other way. I used the caramel to balance some of the sweetness and it was……….well Boozy Coconut & Caramel Milkshakes of course they were delicious!
